Chagall painted numerous paintings on which God and Jewish religion are represented. Many paintings are about the old testament. Among others French Riviera has been an inspiration source essentially at the end of his life. Visit the Maeght Foundation in St Paul de Vence and the Chagall Museum in Nice.
Picasso
Continue your trip to Antibes where Picasso stayed. This town welcomes one of the three unique museums of the painter. The museum is in the Grimaldi castel, his shed since 1946. In 1966 the castel became his museum. Picasso obtained the "honor citizen of the Antibes town", what a great pride for the inhabitants. Renoir
One of the big names of impressionism style, Auguste Renoir found his inspiration in the Monet works.
